How to send an HTML Web page using Outlook

by Lulu Labs

You must first set-up your Outlook properly.
  • Open Outlook
  • Go to "Tools"
  • Choose "OPTIONS"

Once the Options dialog box opens, select the tab Mail Format
Under Message Format, select HTML in the drop-down menu.

Now you are all set up to send HTML. There are several ways to send HTML, however, in this tutorial, we will cover the easiest one only.

  1. Open your Browser, and type in the URL of the HTML page you wish to send, the URL is the web address (ie: www.youraddress.com/whatever.html)
  2. Once your browser is open and you are viewing the HTML page you wish to send, on the menu, select FILE, than, pick SEND and from the submenu,PAGE BY EMAIL

Once you pick your default email client will open and will show the page as the main content. Proceed as if you were sending just another e-mail, include the name and do not forget to change the default subject to a subject of your choice.

TIPS: Test your new skills by sending a test mail to yourself before sending it out at large.
